The hearth used to go from one end of the room to the other forming a stand for the turn table on the left and a TV stand on the right.
Now it's gone.
First we removed the stones and rubble.
Then we opened it to what is caled "the builder opening"
And this is what we could see:
A much bigger room.
Missing skirting boards.
The carpet stoped where the hearth used to be.
We needed to have some good plastering done.
In January 2009 we had cavity wall with insulation instaled. in February a wood burning stove.
The cheminee has a new linning, facias, hearth, plastering... In March new wood flooring.
We have saves 40% gas compared to the previous year.

i-tunes c'est pareille ils n'aimes pas vendre des chansons françaises si on paye avec une carte de payement avec adresse en UK.
La culture Française me manque un peu. Et vous avez vous accès à ma playliste? (perdue pour moi)
Tonight I have been to a Repetition de "An Evening of Elgar" for a concert on saturday 7 November 2009 at The Royal Hall with Margaret McDonald, Mezzo and the Amici Orchestra.
It was beautifull, I have been invited to join in with the singing tonight and to come every week until ... the AUDITION... then, they will tell me if I can stay or not. I would love to stay. The
Conductor, Andrew Padmore, is realy good, I beleve one of the best.

I have met Céline Blanes at Rima's house and after a week with her family she has moved with us. It has been lovely for the children to share some time with her at Les Happy frogs.
She is a lovely 21years old French girl from Montpellier (South of France). She had childcare experience in France and in the UK and she was staying with us only until she found a family to work
for until end of June 2009.
After only 5 days she moved to the Brown's family. They will learn or improve there French until she speaks English fluently.

Rima m'a dit que claire, une autre jeunne fille au-pair, que je lui ai présentée s'est tres bien adaptée chez elle avec Oliver et Elsa. Je suis fière d'avoir joué les intermédiaires.
