You can see here a photo of Louis demonstrating his Cricket talents to fellow cricket player (W. wears the

BONJOUR,
I had my routine Ofsted inspection on the 31st March 2009.
All was good and the inspector was very satisfied.
One of the outcomes of the inspection is that I am now allowed to care for up to 2 children under 1 year at any one time. The maximum number of children I can care
for is unchanged, 5 plus Louis, of these, not more than 3 may be under school age.
My inspection report from September 2005 has been replaced by my new inspection EYFS report
on www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports
Have a look
Maman Marie :-)

I hope that you are happy with the service that I provide, but I appreciate there may be times when I am not offering you and your child(ren) the service that you require. I hope that you will feel
able to discuss any concerns or issues that you may have with me directly. If you would rather not talk in front of your child(ren) then we can arrange a more convenient time, for example in the
evening or at the weekend.
It is a requirement by Ofsted that all complaints in writing or by email are logged along with the outcome and any action taken. These records must be available to show an Ofsted Childcare
Inspector if required.
If you feel that you are unable to talk to me or that after talking the matter remains unresolved then you can talk in confidence to:
The National Childminding Association on 0208 464 6164
Or
The Early Years Childminding Team on 0208 464 9037
If you wish to make a formal complaint then you can contact the Ofsted Complaints and Investigation Unit on 0845 640 40 40

I do not, and will not, administer physical punishment or any form of punishment with the intention of causing pain or discomfort, nor any kind of humiliating or
hurtful treatment to any child in my care.
I endorse positive discipline as a more effective way of setting limits for children.
Distracting and re-directing children’s activities are used as a way of discouraging unwanted behaviour.
I will respond positively to children who seek attention or are disruptive.
I will ensure children maintain their self-esteem by showing I disapprove of the behaviour not the child.
I encourage appropriate behaviour by:
1 Setting a good example, I aim to be a positive role model as children copy what they see. Children learn values and behaviour from adults.
2 I readily praise, approve and reward wanted behaviour, such as sharing, to encourage it to be repeated. Using praise helps to show that I value the child and it helps to build
their self-esteem.
3 I try to be consistent when saying “no” and explain reasons why it is not appropriate and considered unwanted behaviour.
4 My expectations are flexible and realistic and are adjusted to the age, level of understanding, maturity and stage of development of the child.
5 I try to involve children in setting and agreeing house rules.
House rules include:
1 We take off our outside shoes when we go in to the house to keep the house clean when it’s muddy outside.
2 We do not swear, or deliberately hurt anyone else.
3 We eat and drink at the table or in the garden to help keep the house clean and to avoid accidents and at set time, Breakfast, snack, Lunch, snack, dinner time.
4 We don’t play with door as it can be dangerous
Children are guided away from doing things which:
1. are dangerous or hurtful or offensive to someone else
2. are dangerous to the child
3. will make the child unwelcome or unacceptable to other people
4. damage other people’s property.
