It is my policy to admit all children regardless of gender, race, culture, home language, religious belief, family circumstances, ethnic origin or disabilities.
Children are accepted according to availability of place. At the moment I have places for one under school age child and 2 school age children.
I treat children differently in order to treat them the same.
I speak French to all babies, toddlers and to children whose parents speak French at home and of course to my son Louis.
I speak mostly English to children whose parent don't speak French until they feel comfortable being talked to in French. The introduction of French is very progressif. We don't watch TV in English, only French DVD and the children are all happy about it.
The settling-in procedure takes the form of introductory visits of one or two hours, on one or more occasions, depending on the age and confidence of the child.
