Last week, when Gabriella visited our House to Let on behalf of the Charity Avalon to accommodate 2 careers I agreed to provide 2 extra second hands single beds and help furnish the house with other things the future tenants may need.
Thursday, John B. helped me. He has a charity with a cottage 3 miles away from Harrogate. He gave me 2 mattresses and one bed, plates, cutlery, mugs, one tray... If you need more he can give you more (chest of draw, bed side table, big mirror...). And he asked me to tell my friends "If you have friends staying for holiday they may be able to stay at the cottage for free." Amazing!!! (It's not 4 star hotels, it's a cottage on a nature reserve).
Charity should sometime come with a Health Warning.
I have been very impressed with his generosity but today I had to get rid of them because I am convinced they have fleas in them. Harrogate Borough Council charge £21 to get rid of them of £52 to kill the fleas. My trip to Scotton has cost me and now I am back to square one looking for 1 single bed. For the second bed, I will give Louis' bed and buy Louis a new bed with a hiding place underneath.
Saturday: We have been to Ikea and spent more than £300 but we are pleased. I hope Veronika and Ildiko, Daniel and baby will like it too.

Elle a besoin de savoir le nombre de personnes et si vous désirez jouer à la pétanque, de facon à organiser les équipes à l'avance ! N'hésitez pas à inviter vos connaissances francophones également !

• La fête commencera à 14h00.
• Les élèves de la Petite Ecole vous proposeront un spectacle tout en français
• Tournoi de Pétanque organisé par Nigel Clay et Neil Rank de l’Association Leeds Pétanque Club. Les enfants à partir de 8 ans seront autorisés à jouer.
• Château gonflable pour les petits jusqu'à 4 ans
• Jeux de pêche à la ligne
• Tir de boîtes de conserve
• Buvette de boissons non-alcoolisées
• Stand de gâteaux
• Tombola
• Concert de musique
• Danses bretonnes

Pour que cette fête soit réussie nous avons besoin de vous. Aussi nous vous demandons :
• £ 2.50 par adulte (est compris dans ce prix le ticket de la tombola), gratuit pour les enfants
• d’apporter un plat salé pour le soir que l’on partagerait,
• vos boissons alcoolisées,

Anne Dutoya vous invite a célébrer le 14 juillet autour d'un pique-nique. L'année derniere il faisait beau et une soixantaine de personnes s'y sont rendue.
Le principe est simple : chacun apporte à manger et à boire.
Lieu de rendez-vous Roundhay Park (Barrans Fountain, au dessus du lac) à partir de 19h le vendredi 14 juillet.

Le Playgroup des Petits Français au Woodhouse Community Centre, Leeds.
Le playgroup est un endroit calme et ludique, adapté aux petits Francais 0 à 4 ans et à leur parents. Si vous voulez venir avec moi de Harrogate, faites le moi savoir et on ferra du co-voiturage (5 places libres dans ma Zafira)
C'est de 9h15 à 11h30, les lundis, term-time. Les sessions sont très libres avec un choix d’activités proposées aux enfants : activités créatives, histoires, jeux et chants, tout en Francais.
Les enfants approchant 4 ans peuvent maintenant venir à la classe maternelle de La Petite Ecole, tous les samedis matins de 10h30 à 12h30.

Avec mes amis de France nous nous sommes promis de se faire des weekend ensemble au moins une fois par an. Aussi nous allons essayer de nous voire avec les enfants aussi.
Il est possible que si on a le temps on aille en Champagne pour un long week end avec ma nouvelle Zafira pour aller chercher du Champagne et du vin pour l'anniveraire de Robin et que Papa lui offre une chaise longue de Corbusier. A organiser... donnez moi vos idées.
Voici un rapelle de mes dates de vacances:
Du 3 au 5 aout puis du 12 au 17th aout a Nice chez maman avec Louis et Robin avec un petit sejour chez Olivia, Marc et Emmeline a Aix en Provence.
Du 5 au 12 aout nous serrons a Antibes (dans une location pres du port).
It is my policy not to take children with illnesses or infection that may be passed on to other children. This includes Chicken pox, Mumps, Measles, German Measles, Conjunctivitis, Impetigo, sickness and or Diarrhoea.
If children are taking antibiotics, they should not attend the Happy Frogs.
Although if they are on a long course of antibiotics and are nearing the end and are otherwise fit and healthy, they may attend and I will administer the antibiotics. All details will be entered in the medicine book and signed by both the parent and myself.
If a child is found to be ill the parents will be contacted and will need to collect their child immediately or else send a designated adult to take their child home. This is for the protection of all the children and of myself. If I cannot work then everyone loses out.
EMERGENCY PLAN
I am first aid trained and I will ensure that this training is always kept up to date.
In an emergency I would contact parents as soon as possible and ask them to collect their child/children. If this is not possible they will accompany me at all times until their parents arrive. They will not be left with anyone else unless the parent has agreed in advance that they can stay with my emergency carer:

Parents should sign my Accident book if they want to give me permission to seek emergency medical assistance/treatment.
